Imperial Health Sciences is ISO9001:2008 certified for the receipt, storage and distribution of pharmaceuticals and other healthcare products.  We provide warehousing and distribution services for over 30 international and South African manufacturers, delivering to more than 6 thousand hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, doctors, wholesalers and health stores.

Imperial Health Sciences services the full spectrum of the healthcare market such as medical practitioners, hospitals, clinics, state, pharmacies, health shops, wholesalers and retailers.

Imperial Health Sciences Central Distribution Centre and our national administration centre are based in Centurion, Gauteng and Cape Town. We are a single partner for healthcare logistics in Africa. Imperial Health Sciences wholly owns and operates warehousing operations under our IHS brand in Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria and Malawi with downstream distribution partners providing reach into 26 countries pioneering the ‘Hubs into Africa’ concept. This means that we offer our services in East Africa and West Africa – in addition to Southern Africa.  Our new expansion focus is “mid-SADC” with Lusaka, Zambia, the distribution hub for this region.

Imperial Health Sciences service structure allows our clients to define their own specific trading terms, stock strategies, pricing, credit and return policies. We support both public and private sector healthcare networks across the continent and have international aid and multilateral agency clients.

Imperial Health Sciences runs SAP – the leading Enterprise Resource Planning system in the world. Imperial Health Sciences interfaces directly with the major IT systems in our industry, receiving orders and providing real-time responses to Orderwise, X-procure, Repwise, Adcheck, Order Online, Surgicom and retail EDI systems.

Imperial Health Sciences processes and delivers up to four thousand orders each day for customers in South Africa.  In addition, we process almost two thousand export orders per month, servicing export markets across Africa.
